About Our Studio
Young Landscape Design Studio is an Urban, Landscape Design company,
based in Gauteng, South Africa.
We specialize in the design of exterior spaces, whether they be private gardens, public spaces or commercial premises.
Sonita established “Young Landscape Design Studio” in 2011.
It is a creative, dynamic, Landscape Design practice, specializing in creating unique, exclusive landscapes, custom designed for each client’s needs - large or small.
Young Landscape Design Studio was born out of the need in the market for highly skilled, Professional, Landscape Design and installation services.
Our aim is to create beautifully simple, seamlessly functional and most importantly unique, outdoor spaces.
Each garden is designed to reflect our client’s individual characters and needs, and above all is aimed at lifestyle enhancement through good, thoughtful design.

The secret ingredient to which we respond is designing, beautiful, peaceful, functional, low maintenance outdoor spaces, for today’s city dwellers.
We create water wise, ecologically friendly, sustainable gardens, which are in harmony with nature
Our unique formula is to give the client the option to install their own “landscaped garden” or alternatively have their design professionally installed through the YLD team.
Sonita Young
After 20 years of being in the corporate field of Retail Design, she decided to hang up the corporate boots & follow her passion and love for Nature.
Sonita Graduated in 2010 with an International accreditation from City & Guilds of London.
“Young Landscape Design Studio” was established in 2011.
In 2012 she graduated as Top Student for Professional Garden Design & received a second International City & Guilds Certificate
